This policy explains what information Coal & Char collects when you visit the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and answer your messages, and we do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

• Contact-form details. When you use our contact page, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit, so we can read and reply. We use these only to respond to you.
• Analytics data.We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages visited, rough location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. This is aggregated traffic information, and we do not use it to identify you personally.
• Affiliate cookies.When you click a product link, retailers such as Amazon may set their own cookies to track whether a purchase results from that click, so any commission is credited correctly. These cookies are set by the retailer, not by us, and are governed by that retailer’s privacy policy.

How we use information

• To read and respond to messages you send us.
• To understand overall traffic patterns so we can improve the site’s content and structure.

We do not sell your data

Coal & Char is intended for adults shopping for grilling gear and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
